wearing Lipstick Queen Black lace Rabbit ($24) on my lips
By the old makeup gods and the new, I promise that I will never star in a reality TV show…voluntarily, but if were to unintentionally stumble into a situation where a show needed a sassy, fast-talking, makeup-loving crazy cat lady, I’ve chose that my catch phrase will be “It looks better in black!” because if you ask for my opinion on something, that’s pretty much my stock answer, whether it’s bags, clothes, shoes or now, in the case of new Lipstick Queen Black lace Rabbit, makeup.

The flecks are so fine that it’s hard to see them in pics, but that’s a great thing in this case. Basically, they’re much more Barneys new York than party City.
In person? Oh, just wait… That moment when the light hits your lips and those tiny golden sparkles dance is pure magic.
And after a couple hours on your lips, the glossy sheer black color transforms into a barely-there pink tint.
Added bonus: if you’re feeling adventurous, you can also layer Black lace Rabbit on top of other lipsticks to deepen them.

The formula feels moisturizing and doesn’t latch onto any lip flakes. I also like the subtle vanilla flavor, which tastes yum-o, but I don’t detect a scent, in case you’re wondering.
